My Birthday Request: Health and Hope in Fang 


On 8 April, I will celebrate my birthday. Looking back on my time here in Thailand, I am reminded that the greatest gift isn't something I can hold, it is the health and safety of the people I’ve come to know and love. 


The Reality in the Fields

I recently spent time with families in Fang District. These are hard-working people in agriculture and construction who contribute so much, yet they live with the constant weight of "what if". What if my child gets sick? What if I cannot afford the bus to the clinic? 


I have seen how a simple screening or a managed prescription can keep a father working and a mother healthy for her children. No one should have to choose between food and medicine.

How a simple treatment changes everything


During that visit, I met a young boy who showed me exactly what this struggle looks like.

What This Campaign Supports 


Your donation goes directly to the Migrant Healthcare Project, providing essential medical access for over 800 people in Fang District: 


  • Preventive Screenings: Early detection for diabetes, high blood pressure, and breast or cervical cancer. 
  • Chronic Care: Vital follow-up treatment and ongoing support for patients with long-term illnesses. 
  • Hospital Access: Navigating referrals and diagnosis to ensure patients reach the specialist care they need. 
  • Community Outreach: Health education and direct engagement to prevent illness before it starts.
