FAQs
How much does it cost to sponsor a student?
The cost varies depending on the student’s degree and living requirements but typically covers tuition fees, accommodation, daily living expenses, and study materials. You can also contribute a partial sponsorship or make a general donation to the program.
Can I choose which student to sponsor?
Yes, you can select a student whose story or goals resonate with you from our list of scholarship recipients. Alternatively, you can make a general donation, and we’ll allocate it to the students with the most urgent needs.
What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, daily living expenses (such as food and transportation), and educational materials. Additionally, students receive personalised guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
Why is this program unique?
This is PCF’s first initiative working directly with university students, allowing us to build personalised relationships with scholarship recipients. We don’t just provide financial assistance; we also offer academic support and foster a lasting network of empowered individuals.
How is the programme funded?
The scholarships programme relies entirely on donations and partner organisations. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact on the lives of deserving students.
How do you select scholarship recipients?
Our selection process is rigorous and ensures fairness. We evaluate each applicant’s financial needs, academic potential, and motivation to succeed. Additionally, we consider their commitment to giving back to their communities.
Can I make a one-time donation instead of sponsoring a student?
Absolutely! One-time or recurring general donations are also welcomed and help us support more students in need.
