Adriènne Kranendonk - From 2013
Dutch friend, co-produced our videos with her partner Dick Stevens, initiated Delta Lloyd Cycling Team’s support of Philanthropy Connections through a fundraising cycle tour and she supports our administration in The Netherlands.


Angie Ng - From 2012
A friend from Malaysia who connected us to some great sponsors and has helped us with several administrative tasks. She acts as an advisor on our organisational processes and management strategies.

Ann Amann - From 2011
Ann is the Founder and former president of non-profit organisation Help without Frontiers –Switzerland. She supports several of our projects that focus on Burmese refugees in Thailand and she helps with fund raising and by creating awareness for our organisation in Switzerland and Germany.

Damian Doyle - From 2012
He developed and hosted our first website and is a search engine optimisation expert from the Netherlands. He continues to advise us on our online marketing strategies.

Joanne Nihom - From 2013
Dutch journalist. She helps us with text advice and as a sounding board for Sallo.

Harm Edens - From 2011
Dutch TV personality, sitcom writer and ambassador for WWF. He advises us on PR texts.

Joe Sieder - From 2014
Professional photographer and provides images of our projects and surroundings. Joe, from the UK, has made connections with foundations in Nepal and continues to support our work.

Jos Polak - From 2012
Brother of the founder of Philanthropy Connections. Jos, from the Netherlands, designed our 2013 brochure and has been Sallo’s sounding board from the start.

Kevin LJ - From 2013
Photographer and videographer from New Zealand. He edited pictures for our website and did several photoshoots of the PCF team.

Leo Cok - From 2013
Organisational coach from the Netherlands. He advises us on the process to expand as a foundation and
grow as a team, management strategies and methods to have a wider reach and impact.

Liesbeth Roolvink - From 2014
As a strong supporter of PCF’s mission, Liesbeth, from the Netherlands, provides advice on project development, proposal and report writing and strategic directions, guided by her extensive experience in International Development and Humanitarian Aid programming.

Mark Kearns - From 2012
IT expert from Ireland, who set up a free customer relationship management (CRM) system for us, migrating contact details and configuring the CRM to meet our requirements. He supports us with all
our IT issues and advises on social media use and functionality. Mark developed our website.

Stan Commissaris - From 2011
Dutch civil law notary. He completed all the official legal paperwork to register our foundation in the Netherlands and to establish our tax-exempt status (ANBI) there. Stan continues to give us legal advice.

Thomas Hofmans - From 2013
Founder and Director of ‘Radar Groep’ – consultants on social issues. Thomas, from the Netherlands, advised Philanthropy Connections on steps to take for expansion and how to have a greater impact. He also helped with fundraising activities in 2017.

Anna Pierrot
With her background in business management and business to business branding design consultancy, Anna has been essential in improving the look and impact of our communications. Anna has lived, studied and worked in Asia for the past 15 years
Volunteers 2017-2021
Frank Roussin - Canada
Frank is a digital marketing expert from Canada. He is helping PCF by managing the Google advertising campaigns and the performance of the website on search engines in order to generate online donations.


Marcin Piotrowski - Poland
Marcin is a cinematographer and humanitarian photographer that helped us create a stunning video about a leadership development project and an anti-human trafficking campaign in Burma.
Megan Butthong - The Netherlands
Megan is a Safety and Security Management student at NHL Stenden in the Netherlands. Megan will assist PCF with grant writing for the Multi-Lingual Education project in Thailand and thereby expand the grant relationships. In this way, she will help with getting closer to the goals of the Multi-Lingual Education project and the vision of PCF.


Claire Smits - The Netherlands
Claire is a Dutch European Studies students at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. Claire will assist PCF with organising a fundraiser for Stung Preah Srok Preschool. With the fundraiser, Claire is set to raise money for the preschool children so that they can have good education and nutrition.
Eva Kollmannsberger - Germany
Eva joins us on an internship helping us with grant proposals and raising awareness of our work. Eva is a 3rd-year Creative Business Student with knowledge of marketing as well as analysing and understanding media industry outputs, and brings experience with event creation and marketing.


Jasper Assen - The Netherlands
Jasper is a Dutch student who studies European Studies at NHL Stenden in the Netherlands. During the collaboration of PCF and NHL Stenden raised money with a merchandise campaign that entailed selling PCF branded face masks. He also helped PCF look for grants and set the base for the collaboration between NHL Stenden and PCF.

Alex de Raat - The Netherlands
Alex is a Dutch European Studies student at NHL Stenden in the Netherlands. Alex assisted PCF with grant writing and created a grant database. Alex raised money for the Loi Sam Sip school by selling face masks with the PCF logo during COVID-19. Alex helped with the establishment of a collaboration between PCF and NHL Stenden.

Niamh Lacy - Ireland
Niamh is a Marketing Strategy Consultant who has spent the last 8 years working within the NGO and Technology sectors and brings her expertise to Philanthropy Connections supporting the team with advice and guidance around Digital Marketing Strategy and Operations.

Earng S Varinpramote - Thailand
Earng is an urban researcher based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She’s been in touch with Sallo and PCF since her days working with the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC). She helps PCF out with Thai-English translations and sometimes with sponsorship connections via her network.

Annigje Jacobs - The Netherlands
Annigje has been helping us with translations since 2016 but in 2018 she and Brice Goddard setup a Candide, a short film and documentary company. Recently in Cambodia, they filmed & photographed one of our preschool projects, and a few of our scholarship students.

Brice Goddard - France
Brice is a French photographer, director and cinematographer, based in Vietnam. Along with Annigje Jacobs, Brice visited some of our projects Cambodia. and filmed & photographed the impact that these
educational projects have in rural areas where few opportunities are available.

William Persson - Sweden
William, a photographer, has visited several of our projects capturing some wonderful moments on film. We have used many of his images in our reports and communications.

Annig Jacobs - The Netherlands
Annig is a Dutch copywriter living in Vietnam. She helps with translating and editing texts for our newsletters, reports and website.
Arno Smit - The Netherlands
Concepts and copy writer from the Netherlands who edited many of our Dutch texts.
Anouk Aerdts - The Netherlands
Occupational Therapist from the Netherlands who gives advice on this subject in various projects.

A communications consultant who helps us with text edits and advice on Social Media.
Jo Malcolm - United Kingdom
Jo, university English teacher helped out with proof reading some of our material.
Maartje Sak - The Netherlands
Maartje is a graphic designer and helps us with our branding and marketing materials.
Bob German- The United States
Bob assisted Sallo and the team with the management side of the organisation. Bob advised and worked together with the team on goal setting, leadership skills and strategic planning. Thanks to Bob's rich background in business, a three-year Strategic Plan for the organisation was created and implemented.
Gideon Polak - The Netherlands
Nephew of Philanthropy Connections’ founder Sallo. Gideon was a long-term volunteer for one of our partners in Thailand in 2012, and supported Philanthropy Connections during his free time. In 2015 he helped us with the school project ‘Jij de Baas’ in the Netherlands whereby students earn money for charity organisations.
Charmaine de Jongh - Curaçao
Volunteering since 2013, Charmaine played a key role in completing our previous website in English,
produced project proposals and reports, and continued to support us, in many ways, from the
Netherlands.
Eva van Dijk - The Netherlands
Eva edited videos from ‘old’ footage and finished many other tasks with her friend Elonie. In 2015 and 2016 she presented our KAKO toilet project at the Jij de Baas entrepreneurial event held for children in primary school in the Netherlands.
Fran German - The United States
Fran worked with our team members on the Communications part of the organisation. She helped with proofreading and content creation for our newsletters, reports, and new website.
Jen Meckhayai - Thailand
Jen was involved in organising our administration processes, IT office setup, implemented a new server system, supported our Project Coordinator, modified our Due Diligence process (procedure when selecting a project) and accounting.
Michelle Emmel - The Netherlands
Michelle produced project proposals and content for the website. She assisted with fund raising and set up a partnership with the King Baudouin Foundation United States, which enables American sponsors to make tax efficient donations to us.
Naoko Osaki - Japan
Naoko started to support us in June 2013. She focused on establishing connections with potential
sponsors from Japan.
Sandra Schimmenti - Italy
Together with her friend Massimo, Sandra promotes our work and raises funds for one of our projects
by placing tailor-made donation boxes in their shop in Moneglia and asking their friends to do the
same in their businesses.
Lani Hollander - The United States
A non-profit manager based out of Chiang Mai. She assisted our Communications Coordinator with
proofreading and editing texts and documents.

Jo Lynn Tan - Malaysia
Jo interviewed our team for her “Behind the scenes” columns on Facebook and provided the pictures. She organised our media library and developed a new digital folder system.
Massimo Marletto - Italy
Massimo is an entrepreneur and promotes our work and raises funds for one of our projects by placing tailor-made donation boxes in his shop in Moneglia and, successfully, asking his friends to do the same in their businesses.
Samuel van Oostveen - The Netherlands
Samuel offered IT support to our office and assisted our web developer with the coding and setup of the online donation tool on our website.
Volunteers 2011-2014
Annabelle Gerber - Switzerland
Annabelle has been closely involved with PCF since 2012, both as a member of the university of St. Gallen’s ‘Helping KAKO’ team and as board member of KAKO. She helped to raise funds and advised KAKO on its projects and partnerships. In the summer of 2014 she spent some time at our office in Chiang Mai to coordinate our support for KAKO.
Anneke Magendans - The Netherlands
A CSR and sustainability professional working at GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). She lives in Bangladesh and translated many of our Dutch texts into English.
Carolyn Moffatt - United Kingdom
English teacher who originated one of our scholarship projects and also edited some of our English texts.
François Rossi - French
François is a logistics expert and joined us in our Chiang Mai office in December 2013 for three months. He did research for us and wrote reports.
Jeannette Woelinga - The Netherlands
For a year Jeannette dedicated one day a week to help us by managing content for our website.
Kate Mellor - Australia
Master’s student at Stanford University in the US, Kate was involved in Philanthropy Connections from the beginning until 2014. Among many other things, in 2013 she helped with management advice, administrative support and text edits.
Leanne Noom - The Netherlands
Master’s student in Strategic and International Management (University of St. Gallen). Leanne helped PCF with the Annual Reports and business plan. She worked at the office in Chiang Mai on a policy for the ANBI, analysed the effectiveness of the educational programmes of KAKO and developed a standard to select and monitor projects.
Lucy Firth - Australia
Social and innovation economist (PhD) who worked for the UN, various Australian Governments industries and universities. In July 2012 she helped us with organisational structures and researched the legal status in Australia.
Max Stallkamp - Germany
Master’s student in Strategy and International Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. He interned with us from 1st July to 1st September 2013. He produced our annual report 2012 and made an inventory of the current issues at one our projects.
Tatiana Serikova - Russia
Russian intern from the Strategy and International Management master’s Programme at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. In August 2013, among other tasks, she produced a ‘Prezipresentation’ of Philanthropy Connections.
Tobias Oostveen - The Netherlands
A masters graduate of Science in Business Studies and volunteer in our Chiang Mai office from December 2012 to January 2013. Tobias was involved in streamlining our administration, writing project proposals and connecting to various stakeholders.
Urs Meienberger - Switzerland
Urs, who is director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advised us on selecting and implementing a new account system; reviewed the office administration in respect of bookkeeping; developed sub-ledgers for PPE (property, plant, equipment; and created templates for project proposals and tools to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of projects.
Vargo Bawits - The Netherlands
Vargo is a TV producer and he wrote the scenario of our teaser video ‘This is who we are’ in 2013.
Victor Ong - Singapore
Master’s student in Strategy and International Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. As an intern in July 2013, he created a tailor-made accountancy system for us and produced our corporate handbook.
Cees de Bruin - The Netherlands
A relations coach who advised us on effective use of language.
Elonie Kooter - The Netherlands
Elonie was a volunteer in our office from February to July 2012. With her friend Eva, she edited our early videos and cleaned up our picture archives.

As a traveling charity worker, Esther made significant progress towards reorganising our administration within a few weeks in January 2012.
Gerda van den Dool - The Netherlands
Our very first intern/volunteer. As part of her studies in Communication Management she helped us with our first steps into the world of social media. She stayed with us for six months in 2011.
Heleen Minderaa - The Netherlands
Journalist and documentary film maker, Heleen was involved in promoting Philanthropy Connections and overall support from early 2012 up to October 2013.
Melanie Naegeli - Switzerland
International Hospitality Management graduate, Melanie volunteered for us in September and October 2012, and helped with administrative tasks, proposal- and report – writing and fundraising.
Teun Melis - The Netherlands
Teun helped us in the first stages of setting up our accountancy system.
William Cao - China
A fifteen year-old Chinese volunteer who, in 2012, translated our project proposals for preschools and toilets in Cambodia into Chinese and created a PowerPoint presentation for a fundraiser that resulted in the construction of 35 toilets and the opening of three preschools.
