Update from Pi
Strength in Practice: Pi’s Journey Through Care, Courage, and Clinical Growth
Scholarship Update: July–November 2025
Pi is progressing through her one-year Nursing Practice Certificate Programme with steady determination, despite the physical and academic intensity of her studies. With three academic modules followed by ward training, her schedule from June to November has included challenging subjects, hands-on procedures, and increasingly demanding practical assessments.
While English and public speaking continue to be difficult areas for her, Pi has gained confidence through consistent late-night study, class participation, and practical learning. She now feels more comfortable using a microphone, presenting in class, and navigating hospital routines. Her favourite procedures include tube feeding, which she performs confidently, and she enjoys applying her knowledge to both academic projects and personal habits, recently giving up Thai milk tea after learning about its health impacts.
Currently completing her ward training at Sankhayaom Health Promoting Hospital, Pi is learning how to check vital signs, assist patients, and observe professional nursing practices. Though early starts and long hours are exhausting, she is adapting step by step and managing her well-being through music, online relaxation, and occasional home cooking.
She recently joined outreach activities supporting elderly health and continues to show discipline, punctuality, and motivation to grow. Despite limited personal time, Pi is committed to finishing her Mental Health Promotion project and preparing for her upcoming skill evaluations.
